Afternoon Session: Supporting Grieving Clients
Working with grieving clients requires sensitivity, patience, and a deep understanding of how people process loss. This session is designed for staff who regularly support clients and families experiencing grief, providing them with the skills to respond with compassion and professionalism.
Participants will explore the stages and expressions of grief, develop techniques for active listening and empathetic communication, and learn strategies for maintaining their own wellbeing while supporting others.
